I rate this book: 5/5 stars
A page-turning realistic novel with a shocking twist from bestselling author Lisa McMann.
Ethan was abducted from his front yard when he was just seven years old. Now, at sixteen, he has returned to his family. It’s a miracle…at first. Then the tensions start to build. His reintroduction to his old life isn’t going smoothly, and his family is tearing apart all over again. If only Ethan could remember something, anything, about his life before, he’d be able to put the pieces back together. But there’s something that’s keeping his memory blocked. Something unspeakable...
Wow- this is a book that truly keeps you guessing until the last pages.
Ethan was abducted when he was a child, and now he’s back, but his brother is doubting that it’s really Ethan after he finds something out when he is studying genetic’s for school.
It’s hard not to give anything away, but this book really keeps you guessing, and I recommend it to everyone- it's haunting, but good, yet sad, and gives you a lot to think about.
I'm wondering if there will be a sequel- it's one of those books that end, and it could end there, but it could also pick up into a second book.
Well, I recommend going to your nearest bookstore or amazon and ordering this book right now. It's super good.
